At Aunty Em's Gnome Emporium, Grover comes across a statue and marvels at how it looks just like his Uncle Ferdinand. Recalling that Ferdinand had been killed by Medusa, Grover realizes that the statue actually is his uncle and that he, Percy and Annabeth are in Medusa's lair.
