The Fourth Cohort of the Twelfth Legion is a step up in rank from the Fifth. Little is known about this cohort, other than the fact that it exists at Camp Jupiter.

Roman Cohort

A Legion was made of ten cohorts, each one made out of six centurias of eighty men. Like in Camp Jupiter, the most prestigious one was the first, then the second and so on. Normally the Centurion of the first Cohort commanded the whole Cohort.

The Son of Neptune

The Fourth Cohort was on the winning team in the Roman War Games (teammates being the Third and Fifth Cohorts), which beat the First and Second Cohorts. They, along with the Third Cohort, stood and watched as the Fifth Cohort began to lose, but joined the fight once the tide was turned.
