Pan's Fading[]

A question comes to my mind. What happened two thousand years ago to make the great god Pan fade? Ztyran (talkcontribs) 22:37, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

even before Western Civilization came to the unites states, civilization was expanding. Cities being built and forests being chopped down for wagons and trade routes. The wild was already dying, Pan just didnt fade completely until the events of the book. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 22:56, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Yep because the satyrs never really believed that Pan faded so he was technically kept alive by their belief. Since even if a god's area is being diminished they can still be around if people remember them though greatly weakened. Tick Tock-Feed the Croc 14:19, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

I disagree, the wild didn't really take hard hits until the industrial revolution. There more then enough wild back then to sustain Pan. Not to mention Humans didn't start sacking the wild until after the announcement, at least according to Grover. So you have to wonder what made Pan give up back then. So since Pan faded, does that mean Pan's Roman counterpart faded, too?Sleepii head: Victory is Always Within Reach (talkcontribs) 23:05, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

Pretty sure, Faunus and Pan are linked so both of their domains are gone so their probably both faded. Sonofpan17 12:45 March 13, 2012 (UTC)

Fading is not like death, he simplymelt into nature. It's posible that one of his forms (the one most linked to nature) fades but the other contnues sleeping but if you consider they're formed of the same essence than yeah, they're pretty much gone Blackjack22-Live for the next touch 21:09, March 27, 2012 (UTC)Blackjack22

what is pan's bird's name?

Chlorokinesis[]

Wouldn't he have this power, cause he is the god of the wild? Eventhough he hasn't shown it, maybe we could just put presumed beside it under his abilities? 21:53, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

If it is only presumed, it is considered speculation. Darkcloud1111 Umbreon1111Fastest Hero Alive 22:04, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, ok. Thank you, I wasn't sure. 22:07, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

Poetry[]

Is it important to have that poetry section on his page...? SayuriDarling ~ “But a mermaid has no tears, and therefore she suffers so much more.” 04:45, June 24, 2013 (UTC)

The First Olympian War[]

In The Battle of the Labyrinth, it was mentioned that Pan used his panic ability against the Titan army. But if he is a son of Hermes, wouldn't that mean Pan was born after the war, as Hermes himself wasn't around at that time as well. M.J. Daniels (talkcontribs) 17:14, February 27, 2015 (UTC)

Ancient Greek Pun[]

Do you guys think Riordan knows about the fact that “Thamus the Great Pan is dead” can also be translatted to “Thamus the All-Great is dead”? Per Ankh ED 01:08, August 11, 2019 (UTC)
