Respect death or Hades seriously? Man, the whole basic reason is that people do not care about these things as long as Jason brought back to life again.
It didn't really hit me that he was truly gone until Leo's reaction, which high key broke me apart inside.

Dude for real? What about Piper’s reaction haha. Nah for me, that whole chapter with Piper’s reaction was the one that just shattered me inside. Like damnnn, it hurt so bad. Leo’s also hurt but it certainly wasn’t as bad as Piper’s reaction, given that she was actually there when he died and then held his deceased body in her hands and was forced to face the reality that there was no bringing him back, her break down was portrayed in a very very gut wrenching way that in my opinion, no one else could top.
I never liked Jason much, I was neutral on him, but his death hit me like a brick. His death was extremely unexpected. I honestly thought by killing him off Rick was showing us Caligula was an actual threat. What really made it heartbreaking was Leo’s and Piper’s reactions. I can’t imagine Thalia’s and Reyna’s reaction though. Thalia might as well blame Apollo for his death, she just go him back only for him to get away, permanently this time.
I think this book is like the Order of the Phoenix to Harry Potter. Things are getting more serious. I’m surprised how no one is talking about Crest’s death. His death was the most sorrowful in this book. Especially Apollo’s reaction. Rick is hinting more deaths in the next book, including Apollo’s himself. But we know Rick won’t pull a Veronica Roth and kill him off (I hope).
Yes, he won’t kill Apollo. But who’s Veronica Roth?
She’s the author of Divergent trilogy. In the last book she killed off the main character (Tris Prior). I’m certain he won’t kill Apollo. Then there would be an Olympian less. And I doubt Zeus would actually go to those lengths of cruelty.
As a side note that's not relevant to this discussion, the page for The Burning Maze refers to Hyacinthus as Apollo's girlfriend, not boyfriend, when describing the part where they're solving crossword puzzles in the maze. I can't edit, so it would be nice if someone who can goes and fixes that.

I didn’t really notice that. I don’t think I can edit either. I’m new to this wiki.
Honestly, I'm still completely shocked.
I seriously didn't think Rick would put one of them to the axe. Especially not that character.

Yeah, there is a discussion regarding Jason’s death. I am amused and astonished myself.
