It's been bugging me ever since I read the book. Mars talked about Frank helping Percy make a very important decision concerning his fatal flaw (personal loyalty) and Juno said that Annabeth will bring problems for the group. There's also Ella's prophecy on "wisdom's daughter and the Mark of athena burining through Rome" and in PJATO, Athena warned Percy about the consequences of having a relationship with Annabeth. Just a thought, maybe Annabeth will fulfill the Prophecy's part of "An oath to keep with a final breath". Maybe, she will die in the war against the Giants and that's the reason why Juno let Percy remember Annabeth so that he may be able to cope if this possibility does happen. BUT! It's just what's bugging me. Maybe Octavian will also play a part, since he looks a lot like Luke, and maybe he'll do what he did with Gwendolyn. :(
