The Waterland Souvenir Shop is the souvenir shop at the Waterland water park in Denver, Colorado.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians[]

The Lightning Thief[]

Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood take a detour from their quest to go on an errand for Ares. He asks them to retrieve his shield from the defunct Waterland water park, in exchange for information on the whereabouts of Percy's mother, Sally Jackson. While they are they, they stop to the Waterland Souvenir Shop to pick up some new supplies. At first Percy does not want to steal the clothes, but Annabeth convinces him to do so. Percy notes that the three of them looked like walking advertisements for Waterland after putting on the clothes. Percy and Annabeth later fall for Hephaestus' trap that was meant to entangle Ares and Aphrodite, and were attacked by mechanical spiders, later to be saved by Grover. Annabeth also takes a red rubber ball, which helps them later with Cerberus while they were in the Underworld.
